BASCO, Batanes (PIA) - - Two Black Hawk Choppers of the Philippine Airforce delivered more than 2, 000 vaccine doses in the province recently.

This is in line with the government's "PinasLakas" program or the Nationwide Booster Vaccination campaign which aims to increase the number of Filipinos inoculated with COVID-19 booster doses as an effort to help maintain the country's wall of immunity.

According to the Provincial Department of Health Office here, the vaccines delivered are for booster administration as the province's primary doses or the first and second doses of the Covid-19 vaccine are almost at 100% coverage.

Aside from the booster vaccines which include 2,5 02 for adults and 180 for pedia, PDOHO said that other ancillary supplies and routine vaccines were also delivered.

Meanwhile, the booster vaccination is yet to be scheduled but it will be announced per municipality according to PDOHO officials. (OTB/CEB/PIA Batanes)
