5 Iligan schools get assistance from ILPI for Brigada Eskwela

ILIGAN CITY (PIA)--Five schools here are thankful for the support and assistance extended by Iligan Light and Power, Inc. for the Brigada Eskwela.

The schools namely Digkilaan Central School, Sta. Filomena Central School, Tambacan Elementary School, Maria Cristina National High School, and Napocor Elementary School were assisted in repainting their chairs, vegetation clearing, and checking electrical connections.

Maria Grace Sauter, Brigada Eskwela coordinator of Napocor Elementary School expressed gratitude for the efforts of ILPI. 

“Nagapasalamat kami sa kahigayonan na nahatagan gyud mi ug higayon sa ILPI, as one of our external stakeholders. Wala mi nagdahom na-in ani kadako ilang contribution sa opening sa klase sa Monday,” she said. 

[We are grateful for the opportunity that ILPI has given us, as one of our external stakeholders. We didn't expect this much contribution in the opening of the class on Monday.]

Meanwhile, Digkilaan Central School principal Philan Labrada said the assistance extended by ILPI is a big help to them especially as they faced challenges with their electricity. 

“In our school, we experience a lot of problems. We experience a low voltage, we are very thankful, at last ILPI took this initiative and helped us in our electricity problem,” he said. (LELA/PIA10/Lanao del Norte)
