ILOILO CITY (PIA) -- Ilonggos are encouraged to apply for various job opportunities as the Iloilo City government will stage a Charter Day Job Fair at Robinsons Place Fountain Area in City Proper on August 26.

The city’s Public Employment Service Office (PESO) said that around 2,000 jobs will be offered by 19 Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firms, 46 local companies and 10 overseas agencies.

Further, local job openings include call center agents, sales staffs, and construction workers, among others.

Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treňas said that these employment prospects are being offered as the city continues to undertake economic responses to the COVID-19 pandemic.
