BALER, Aurora (PIA) -- Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) constructed a covered court at barangay Dilaguidi in Dilasag, Aurora.
 
The P2.94 million facility is located within the Barangay Hall compound.
 
District Engineer Roderick Andal said that this project was funded under the 2022 national budget. It was well received by the local officials of barangay Dilaguidi.
 
“We were told that this new covered court constructed next to the barangay hall gives local officials a larger space for delivering basic government services to their constituents,” Andal shared.
 
Apart from being a venue for social and recreational activities, it will also serve as a barangay evacuation center during emergencies. (CLJD-PIA 3)
