LAGAWE, Ifugao (PIA) - - Four barangays of Kiangan town received vehicles from the municipal local government unit (LGU) to boost their emergency response and other services in the community.

Mayor Raldis Andrei A. Bulayungan, Vice Mayor Michelle Baguilat and representatives from the Office of the Sangguniang Bayan turned over one unit each of multi-purpose vehicle to the barangay  captains of Bolog, Hucab, Poblacion and Tuplac.

Said service vehicles are purposely for immediate response in case of emergency as well as to cater the transportation needs of the residents especially   persons with disabilities, senior citizens, and women.   

This is also in pursuit of an accessible, reliable, active and benevolent community assistance, relief and empowerment services for a MASIGLANG KIANGAN PO!

Bulayungan reminded the barangay recipients of their responsibility to maintain the vehicles and to use them for the    good of the community, He also thanked the Sangguniang Bayan members    for their continuing support to the programs of the LGU such as this   purchase of the vehicles.  

Punong Barangays Leopoldo G. Pinkihan, Rufino P. Dulnuan, Romel N. Licyayo, and Andres P. Guay expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to the municipal officials and assured to maintain and use the vehicles responsibly. (JDP/MBL- PIA CAR, Ifugao)
