CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - The Philippine Air Force - Tactical Operations Group (PAF-TOG) - 2 has accorded a 'Side Buoy Honors' to 5th Infantry Division, Philippine Army Commander and chair of the Joint Task Force Tala  Maj. Gen. Laurence Mina in his recent visit to the Home of Valley Warriors headquarters in Cauayan City, Isabela.

It is part of the farewell visit of the official to various units in his area of responsibility covering the Cagayan Valley Region and Cordillera Administrative Region.

Mina was received by PAF-TOG 2 Commander Lt. Col. Sadiri Tabutol and the men and women of the air force headquarters.

The organic personnel of TOG 2 together with OpCon units from 710th Special Operations Wing,  355th Aviation Engineering Wing, PAF Civil Military Operations Group,  and 1st Light Armor Cavalry Troops.

Mina expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the significant roles and accomplishments of TOG-2,  PAF that contributed to the achievement of the Philippine Army in his area of operations.

He said the active participation of Lt. Col. Tabutol during Joint Mission Planning and orchestration and execution of Air Operations as well the non-combat but compelling activities like the Usapang Pangkapayapaan Usapang Pangkaunlaran (Up Up)  Cagayan Valley and Campus Peace and Development Forum that recognize the Philippine Air Force as partner in maintaining the peace for the people of Cagayan Valley.

TOG 2, as Air Component of JTF Tala, is under the Operational Control of Maj, Gen Mina,  who is set to retire on September 5, 2022 after 36 years of dedicated military service to God,  Country and People. (OTB/MGE / PIA Isabela)
