‘Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels’ visits underserved areas in Pangasinan

DAGUPAN CITY (PIA) – The Pag-IBIG Fund-Dagupan Branch has made its services accessible and more convenient to members and non-members in select towns of the province through its Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels.
 
Jonah Grace Oxiles, information officer of Pag-IBIG Fund-Dagupan, said “This is a way for Pag-IBIG Fund to give immediate and suitable services to people especially for the working sectors such as market vendors, transport groups, farmers, and other informal sectors that live in far-flung areas that are underserved or has poor internet connections.”
 
Among its services are updating and verification of Pag-IBIG membership; receiving housing, multi-purpose, and calamity loans; receiving retirement or death claims; offsite enrolment and issuance of Pag-IBIG loyalty card plus; as well as open for program inquiries.
 
Members and non-members are encouraged to avail the services to be made available during the Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels.
 
It will visit the towns in Western Pangasinan on the following schedule: Anda (August 30), Bolinao (August 31), Bani (September 1), and Mabini and Burgos (September 2).
 
Pag-IBIG Fund offers regular loan programs such as short-term loans, housing loans, and developer’s housing loans.
 
It also offers Modified Pag-IBIG 2 (MP2) Savings that facilitates a special voluntary savings of its members with a five-year maturity with a premium of 0.5 percent. (JCR/AMB/PIA Pangasinan)
