Camarines Sur Chamber of Commerce holds Camarines Construct 2022

PILI, Camarines Sur (PIA)—The Camarines Sur Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (CSCCI) will hold its 4th  Camarines Sur Construct: Exploring Innovative Trends in Construction”  comes September 2 to 3 at the Capitol Convention Center, Cadlan, here.

The event is one of the highlights of CSCCI’s Business Expo 2022 with the theme “Recovery through Innovation and Collaboration.”  The event’s featured keynote speaker is Senator Mark Villar.

Engr. Adriel Bersola, 4th Camarines Sur Construct Committee Chairperson, said that construction, both on the regional and national scale, has a significant social, economic, and environmental impact.  A newly-built edifice serves as a testimony of another investment flowing in, more jobs for the workers and more income for the local economy.

“Each new structure, whether commercial or residential, creates new job, invites business investment, increases local spending and improves personal mobility, yet the construction industry must be able to achieve the benefits of economic gains without compromising the safety of workers and the environment.  Ultimately, we believe that accelerating progress in the construction industry, will support the long-term economic growth and promote a healthier and more sustainable Camarines Sur,” Bersola added.

When the COVID-19 pandemic swept the world with its lethal virus, the country’s construction community was one of the sectors gravely hit by its harsh consequence.  The pandemic did not only cause business shut down but loss of jobs and economic slump as well.

This year, CSCCI, Inc. will navigate the business direction back to the construction industry. It will be guided by the chamber's mission to support the construction community through various innovative trainings and provide  business opportunities for industry stakeholders to connect, grow, succeed and help propel the economy by accelerating economic growth.

During the plenary sessions, participants and stakeholders will have an opportunity to listen to experts on various fields related to construction.
