Digital Transformation Center is a program under DICT that will aid Filipinos in harnessing and acquiring high level ICT skills from trainings, innovative collaboration, knowledge sharing and strengthen local talents with world class digital skills.
Moreover Sec. Uy commend the Sangguniang Kabataan Officials of Barangay Mercedes for their efforts and initiative to build a center for the youth and allocating their funds to relevant projects.
Aside from the launching of the new digital youth center, DICT also launched new sites connected to the government’s free internet program through the expanded Zamboanga-Basilan Broadband Project and Government Network projects.
Meanwhile, DICT Sec. Uy also led the ground breaking ceremony of another DTC at DICT Talon-talon Office, Zambonga City the center will provide basic to advance ICT skills for Persons with Disabilities, Women and Senior Citizens.
