CABARROGUIS, Quirino (PIA) - - The I Love Quirino Run is back as one of the highlights of the 51st founding anniversary and Panagdadapun Festival of the province after two years of hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Fun Run is scheduled on September 10, 2022 at 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon. It aims to raise fund to support the delivery of various services and Disaster Risk Reduction activities of the Philippine Red Cross (PRC), a humanitarian organization which is an active partner of the local government units in the province.

Vice governor Jojo Vaquilar, chairperson of the Fun Run, said the activity is participatory and non- competitive that encourages individuals to join for health benefits and at the same time for humanitarian cause.

The registration has started at the PRC and it will be until September 9, 2022.  The fee includes P250 for students and senior citizens, and P300 for regular participants. They will be given free Dri-fit shirts and snacks.

The runners are advised to assemble at the Quirino Sports Complex at 2:30 in the afternoon and the Run will start at exactly 3:00 o’clock, from Quirino Sports Complex to San Marcos and back to the assembly area.

There will be fire trucks to provide showers for all runners in the designated areas.

Also, they will be given colored powder at the main gate of the sports complex before the finish line. At a given signal, all runners will throw the colored powder upwards, making it a colorful run.
