IPIL, Zamboanga Sibugay, Sept. 5 (PIA) - About 600 Sangguniang Kabataan officials joined the 4-day nationwide congress on entrepreneurship held recently in Cebu City. 

Joining the crowd of empowered youth were some 50 delegates from Region IX, of which 18 were from Zamboanga Sibugay Province.

Organized and supported by the Department of Trade and Industry, Development Centerfor Future Leaders, Inc., Philipppine Trade Training Center, Negosyo Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship, the event provided platform for the youth to widen knowledge on Trade and Industry, Agriculture and Resource-Based Industry, Digitalization and Innovation and Tourism and Service-Based Industry.

The event also provided learning highway on the various business opportunities relating to Food Manufacturing, Farm and Tourism, Health and Wellness, Game Development, Film Production and Lifestyle-Fashion. 

This  2nd Negosyo sa Kabataan Entrepreneurship Development Training, anchored on the theme “MSME Reboot: Inclusive Start Up and Recovery (Sangguniang Kabataan Edition), ” hopes to influence the youth to an entrepreneurial mindset. 

Youth-participants were also taught how to prepare their own Business Plan (BP) that they can implement in their respective areas. (nbe/jpa/Zamboanga Sibugay)
