"The opening was very festive. Both students and teachers were so excited for the start of this school year," Alvarado said.
She said, for the first-year students alone, Carig Campus has the highest number of enrollees with 4,126; followed by Andrews Campus with almost 1, 942; Aparri with 1, 584 and Sanchez Mira with more than 1,027 students while other campuses have hundreds of enrollees to include Gonzaga with 684, Lallo - 534, Piat - 474, and Lasam-401, while the newly opened Solana Campus has also registered 357 pioneer students.
Alvarado, however, clarified that the university still implements a blended mode of learning in which they only allow full face-to-face for laboratory classes but for other courses, they implement online and limited face-to-face.
She also assured that health protocols will strictly be followed for face-to-face classes, especially the observance of physical distancing and wearing of facemasks.
"There are school officials who are incharge of looking into the strict compliance of the health protocols within the campus. Wearing of facemask is a must in the university," Alvarado added.
