IPs receive livelihood, furniture packages from DTI Isabela

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - At least seven Indigenous Peoples (IPs) in Dinapigue town recently received livelihood assistance and15 received furniture packages from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) - Isabela in support of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) program.

The awarding of the said livelihood assistance was held on September 9, 2022 as part of its Livelihood Seeding Program - Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (LSP-PPG) benefitting former rebels who belong to the Indigenous Peoples group in the town.

The livelihood package that was distributed to the IPs includes the bigasan and sari-sari stores. 

Aside from the DTIs programs and services, the IPs also benefit from the different programs and services offered by other government agencies like Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and several other government agencies which converged and delivered their respective programs and services to the IPs of Dinapigue.
