CLAVERIA, Misamis Oriental (PIA)--The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Claveria held a Pag-ibig Fund Savings Orientation workshop for public servants in Claveria on September 9 as part of its activities for the 122nd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA).

Facilitated by LGU Claveria Head of the Human Resources Management Office Ellaine Edio, numerous Job Order employees of the LGU were oriented by Pag-ibig representatives who explained the basics of Pag-ibig savings, its rules for withdrawal, and different loans an employee can avail for any financial emergencies that they would need.

Through the Pag-ibig Fund Saving Orientation activity, the LGU of Claveria aims to capacitate its employees to fully utilize the government’s funding services and housing programs designed to help public servants acquire safe and secure loans.

Present at the event were also the Rural Health Unit (RHU) employees for free COVID-19 Vaccine Booster shots for employees present who have not received the vaccination, in addition to free mammogram tests for female employees over 35 years of age and free Digital Rectal Exam (DRE) for male employees over the age of 40.
