NV farmer entrepreneurs finish farm business course

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA) - - At least 32 Farmer Entrepreneurs here recently completed their Farm Business Course (FBC) through the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR).

The 32 farmers received their  certificates of completion from DAR regional and provincial officials.

Engr. Rustico  Turingan, provincial agrarian reform officer (PARO), said the FBC aims to  provide and educate farmers in modern agricultural methods and entrepreneurship skills inorder to transform their crops into more profitable and market-oriented products.

“The DAR Nueva Vizcaya will continue to provide small farmers with the resources they need to expand their potentials, educate them on the most effective marketing strategies, and increase their agricultural productivity,” he  said.

Turingan said  the 32 farmers who are members of the Sto. Domingo Agriculture Cooperative (SDAC) completed 25 sessions from March to September 2022. (OTB/BME/PIA NVizcaya)
