MALOLOS CITY (PIA) -- Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed a concrete road at barangay Pasong Bangkal in San Ildefonso, Bulacan.
 
Farmers and residents are now experiencing faster and more convenient travel with the 830-meter infrastructure that passes through vast rice fields near the barangays of Pasong Bangkal and Casalat.
 
Bulacan 2nd District Engineer George Santos said this can contribute in the increase in agricultural production and income of farmers.
 
“The Pasong Bangkal-Casalat Road project is just one of the local road improvement projects that we are implementing in the rural areas of Bulacan,” he furthered.
 
DPWH Bulacan 2nd District Engineering Office is committed to continue empowering farming communities through infrastructure development.
 
The agency allotted P18.3 million for the project which was funded under the General Appropriations Act of 2022. (CLJD-PIA 3)
