BALER, Aurora (PIA) -- Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) turned over to school and village officials two covered courts in Maria Aurora, Aurora.
The completed infrastructures are located at San Leonardo Elementary School (SLES) and barangay Sto. Cristo.
Aurora District Engineer Roderick Andal said P5.39 million was allotted for the covered court at SLES which is considered as the community's first covered court.
“Students, residents and local officials have expressed their appreciation for the project as they now have a facility that can host outdoor activities,” he added.
“The newly-completed structure will primarily benefit the school community as they have been given a conducive venue and additional learning space for students to use,” Andal furthered.
Meanwhile, P5.39 million was earmarked for the covered court at barangay Sto. Cristo. (CLJD-PIA 3)
