ROXAS CITY, Capiz (PIA) -- A five-day housing fair was organized by the Home Mutual Development Fund (HMDF) or PAGIBIG Fund thru its Bacolod Housing Business Center from Sept. 19 to 23 at the Robinsons Place in Pueblo de Panay, Barangay Lawaan, here to sell its 117 acquired assets in Capiz for interested buyers.

"These are composed of 69 negotiated accounts available and 48 acquired assets and properties under first and second aution," said HDMF Bacolod Housing Business Center department manager Wilmer B. Lirazan during an interaction with local mediamen.

He added that these assets accumulated as the Fund has not conducted an auction in Roxas City for the past two years due to the pandemic.

The exhibit at the mall will feature all the acquired assets available and a staff will handle inquiries on acquired assets as well regular housing program.

“Our price of the acquired assets is very reasonable. It is lower than the prevailing market price,” Lirazan stressed, adding that PAGIBIG Fund is not in the business of collecting acquired assets but for providing housing to its members.

Interested parties may visit the fair or PAGIBIG Branch Office in Pueblo de Panay for inquiries and guidelines in buying the properties. (JBG/AAL/PIA Capiz)
