SAN JOSE, Antique (PIA) - - The Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) is now accepting daily transactions in Antique following the opening of its newest branch at the 3rd floor of Robinsons Mall here.

PRC Commissioner Erwin M. Enad expressed his gratitude to the local government of San Jose, the Province of Antique, and Robinsons Mall for the tripartite partnership and for making the services of the commission closer to the Antiqueños.

He said that because of the tripartite partnership, the accessibility of PRC services is not only an option but a destiny for professionals in the locality.

PRC in Antique is the 2nd Offsite center in Robinsons Mall, 31st nationwide, and 5th in Region 6.

On the part of Mayor Elmer Untaran of San Jose town, it has been his dream to have the PRC office here. 

Early on, LGU San Jose hosted the PRC on the road project wherein a number of professionals benefitted from various services of the commission.

Untaran lauded the support of Robinsons Mall in hosting a number of government agencies in the mall under the Lingkod Pinoy Center.

Robinsons Operations Director for Visayas and Mindanao Joseph Sian, in a press conference, said that Robinsons Mall is happy in serving the people of Antique, as a way of reciprocating their acceptance and patronage to the mall.

Antique Lone District Represntative Antonio Agapito Legarda, in a video message,  commended the PRC for bringing closer their services to Antique.

“The PRC service center would immensely help the professionals here, for they will no longer go to Iloilo to apply or renew their licenses,” Legarda said.

PRC Antique opens regularly from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. up to 5 p.m with the following services, namely, Application for Licensure Examination, Initial Registration, Renewal of Professional Identification Cards,

Issuance of Duplicate Professional Identification Cards, Authentication of Certificate of Registration (COR) and/or Professional Identification Card (PIC),

Issuance of Certificate of Good Standing, Original Certification of Board Rating/Board Passing, Authentication of Board Rating/Board Passing and Verification of Board Rating.

PRC Antique is headed by Jean Pearl P. Amar as team leader under the management of Regional Director Romel B. Balisang of PRC 6.

Untaran said that LGU San Jose de Buenavista has detailed three personnel to support the team from PRC Region 6. (JBG/PSM/PIA-Antique)
