Laurine Sales, Project Assistant III of the Ilocos Sur Provincial Science and Technology Office, said grade 12 students belonging to STEM class that graduated before the school year 2022-2023 and who have not enrolled in college may also apply.
This also includes those who are among the top 5% of their graduating class.
Further, applicants must be natural-born Filipino citizens and must not have earned any units in college or vocational courses.
“Those in the nearby provinces may also apply but it is better for them to apply online so they can upload their requirements on the system and fill out the necessary forms which are downloadable from the site, “ Sales explained during her interview at PIA Ilocos Sur radio program.
The online applicants need valid and secured email accounts, a stable internet connection, and a working mobile number.
Sales said, “They can visit our office because we have primer reviewers where they can obtain ideas regarding the content of the exams.
Other requirements to be submitted include complete forms C to J which are the Certificate of Good Moral, Good Health, Principal’s Certification, Certificate of Residency, Birth Certificate, passport-size recent picture, and notarized Affidavit of Guardianship.
Scholars of the said program will be enjoying a P7,000 monthly stipend; scholarship privileges such as tuition fees, learning materials amounting to P10,000 every academic year; a monthly living allowance of P7,000; clothing allowance of P1,000; transportation allowance; premium group accident and health insurance; P10,000 thesis allowance; and graduation allowance of P1,000.
