150 patients benefit from food packs, health kits from PGI,CIPI

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - Some 150 patients in the G. F Dy Sr Memorial Hospital were given food packs and health kits by the Provincial Government of Isabela (PGI) through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) in partnership with the Children International Philippines, Incorporated (CIPI).

The distribution was led by PSWD Officer Lucila Ambatali and hospital Chief Dr. Arlene Lazaro as a support to families in a crisis situation and in celebration of the National Family Week.

The theme for the National Family Week Celebration this year “Tungo sa Maginhawa, Matatag at Panatag na Pamilyang Pilipino sa Panahon ng Pandemiya.”

Ambatali said the PGI extends its support to the patients inside the said hospital to let them feel that the government is with them specially in their hardest times.

The PSWDO chief also acknowledged the continuous support of the CIPI extending their resources for Isabeleno children.

The patients expressed gratitude to PGI and CIPI for the provision of food packs and health kits saying the said items are useful while they are in the hospital. (OTB/MGE / PIA Isabela)
