BALER, Aurora (PIA) -- Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed two covered courts in the province of Aurora.
The facility built at Diteki Elementary School in San Luis town will be beneficial not only for the faculty and students but also for the entire barangay because it can be used to hold community activities.
“It can also be used as an evacuation site during emergencies,” Aurora District Engineer Roderick Andal said. P5.39 million was allotted for the project under the 2022 national budget.
Meanwhile, DPWH also completed a covered court at Sitio Vietnam, barangay Sabang in Baler town.
Aurora Lone District Representative Rommel Rico Angara assured that in partnership with DPWH, they will accelerate the development of public structures in the barangay to support its continued development.
He will likewise team up with Senator Sonny Angara for the creation of Sabang Ecotourism Loop to stimulate the local tourism industry. (CLJD-PIA 3)
