She said that the Department of Science and Technology - PSHS is where the premiere science high school education begins.

She added, “We are a specialized Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics school where all students are scholars.”

Interested applicants must have a final grade of 85% or better in Science and Mathematics evidenced by their report card.

In the event that their grades on the said subjects are lower, they must provide evidence that they belong to the upper 10% of the batch.

Director Orteza reminded that only applicants who are Filipino citizens will be accommodated and that they must have no pending or approved application as an immigrant to any foreign country.

“Our Pisay scholars enjoy privileges such as free tuition, free loans of books, a monthly stipend of P500 to P4,000, and group accident insurance,” she said.

Moreover, those who are qualified based on set criteria shall also receive a monthly living allowance, uniform allowance, transportation allowance, and/or load allowance.

Those who are interested may apply online at nce.pshs.edu.ph and may contact the PSHS-IRC directly through their email.

The PSHS-IRC campus director mentioned that they must submit the application form along with a one-by-one ID picture and a certified true copy of the card for the school year 2021-2022.

Those from private schools must prepare a non-refundable processing fee of P300.
