The agreement was signed between DTI Isabela Provincial Director Ma. Sofia Narag and Mengal Women Organization, Incorporated Founder and Chairman Jessica G. Dy and its President Febe Lansangan held at the newly completed Mengal Women Center.
The three women leaders have agreed to partner on future collaborations on women empowerment like provision of livelihood, consumer education and protection, and other projects involving environmental conservation and the promotion of "Buy Local, Go Local" of DTI.
DTI Isabela Provincial Director Ma. Sofia Narag assured that the programs and services of the agency particularly on the conduct of entrepreneurship development, skills training, marketing, and consumer protection to the Mengal Women Organization in the town including the victims of domestic abuse who will soon be housed in the center to help them undergo reformation and rehabilitation will be provided.
