Ifugao PLGU awards LTIA  provincial winners

LAGAWE, Ifugao (PIA)--The provincial local government unit awarded its 2022 Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentive Award (LTIA) to the  provincial winners during the  Local Legislators’ Day held at the Lagawe Central School Gymnasium.


The Provincial Best Performing Lupong Tagapamayapa are Barangay Amduntog of Asipulo that bagged  first  place, and Poblacion East of Lamut, and Nagacadan of Kiangan for second and  third  place,  respectively


The winners received plaques of recognition and cash incentives.


The LTIA was established to institutionalize a system of granting economic benefits and other incentives to the Lupong Tagapamayapa that demonstrated exemplary performance in settling disputes at the barangay level.


Meanwhile, Vice-Governor Glenn Prudenciano acknowledged all legislators who attended the  Legislators’ Day which aims to promote camaraderie among legislators in the province.


In a related development, the Municipality of Lamut held its  first Municipal Legislators’ Day last October 14, 2022   with the theme “Making a Difference Through Dynamic Legislation.”


The event highlighted by advocacy parade and program was attended by  officials from the  18 barangays  of Lamut and with the Vice Governor as the guest of honor.


 Mayor Victomar Bunnol lauded the 20th Sangguniang Bayan headed by    Vice Mayor   Everda Desiree Dulinayan  for spearheading the event. He praised  all the  barangay officials for  attending as he  challenged them  to perform their duties effectively for the common good in  community.


 Said celebration is in accordance with Municipal Ordinance No. 2019-19-10 and in pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 63, Series of 1992 which declares the second week of October as the Local Government Week. (JDP/FBR-PIA CAR, Ifugao)
