CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro (PIA) – Gov. Humerlito A. Dolor led recently the distribution of relief goods yesterday to 5,858 families who were affected by Typhoon Paeng in the nine barangays in Baco.
Baco Mayor Allan Roldan expressed gratitude to the provincial government for prioritizing his town as one of the recipients of relief goods distribution in the province.
In his message, Dolor said he only returned the services to the people in the communities because they deserved to be served especially in times of calamities.
Present during relief distribution were Municipal Councilors Jay Najito, Arnel Abarquez, Diony Hernandez, Vic Valenzuela, Severina Jimenez and ABC President Benedicto Manimtim. Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Zarah C. Magboo and Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officer Vinscent Gahol also assisted the group during the entire distribution of relief items to beneficiaries. (LTC/PIA-MIMAROPA)
