DAVAO CITY (PIA) – The Tubalan Comprehensive National High School in Malita, Davao Occidental town has started implementing the five days in-person classes in full capacity pursuant to Department of Education’s Order No. 34, series of 2022.

The DepEd Order requires all public schools to shift to full face-to-face classes with 100% enrollees beginning November 2, 2022.

The TCNHS management has made sure that they have fully complied with the safety protocols, and has advised the students to continue wearing face masks and washing or sanitizing of hands regularly.

As part of the safety protocols, the students will undergo daily checking of temperature at the screening area before entering the campus, and there will be monitoring of close-contacts.

Dr. Ladislaw Agawin Jr., the public schools district supervisor in Davao Occidental, lauded the management of TCNHS for the improvement made inside the school premises, stating, “There is an intention and willingness to accept the challenge.”

According to DepEd-XI, a total of 2,322 or 99.96% of the public schools in the region have started implementing the five-day in-person classes, and only one school is reported to still implement the blended learning. (PIA-XI/Franchette Delfin)
