CIMC passes 3 ISO certifications

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - The City of Ilagan Medical Center (CIMC) has passed three International Standardization Organization certifications after the recently conducted evaluation.

The CIMC is run by the city government here with complete health equipment and facilities to cater to the health needs of Ilaguenos.

Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member Evyn Jay Diaz said the CIMC got the ISO-9001-2015 for Quality Management System, ISO-14001-2015 for Environment Management System and ISO-45001-2018 for Occupational Health and Management System.

He said that City of Ilagan Mayor Josemarie L. Diaz wanted that the health facilities run by the city government met all the local and international safety and health requirements and standards on its operations to ensure the safety of every Ilagueno who would avail the services of the facility including the medical personnel.

Diaz said the CIMC has been operating for a year now and was used to treat Ilaguenos who were infected with Covid -19 during its onslaught last year.

Aside from catering to the health needs of Ilaguenos, the facility also caters to sick patients outside Ilagan.

He said another health facility is also being constructed at Alibagu, City of Ilagan as an additional health facility to cater to the health needs of Ilaguenos aside from the established Rural Health Units in the city and the San Antonio Hospital. (MGE / PIA Isabela)
