107 MSMEs receive livelihood kits from DTI

LAMUT, Ifugao (PIA) - - A total of 107 of entrepreneurs from the various municipalities of the province received  livelihood kits from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) under its Livelihood Seeding Program- Negosyo sa Barangay.

This is also part of the Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa Program that intends to support micro-enterprises that have been affected by fire incidents, other calamities, and health pandemics. 

These beneficiaries consisting of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) were provided with P8, 000.00 worth of livelihood assistance to help them earn income, and can generate jobs in the community someday.

They compose the last batch of beneficiaries of said program for this year in the province, the DTI reported.

DTI – Ifugao Provincial Director Lino Cungihan enjoined the MSMEs to manage the assistance wisely. “We hope that someday, you will help in addressing the problem of unemployment in your respective community.”  (JDP/MBL- PIA CAR, Ifugao)
