BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA ) - - Police Colonel Camlon Nasdoman is the province’s new Philippine National Police (PNP) Provincial Director.
Nasdoman who hails from Banaue, Ifugao took the leadership of the PNP Provincial Police here in November 16 from Colonel Dante Lubos, then the PNP Officer-In-Charge and made a courtesy visit to Governor Carlos Padilla today.
He said while Nueva Vizcaya is a peaceful province, the PNP under his command will implement more police visibility in various towns to as a measure for crime prevention.
“We will continue with our good practices but we will be collaborating more with our local officials and civil society organizations as our partners for anti-criminality activities, campaigns and advocacies,” Nasdoman said.
The new PNP Provincial Director said he will also focus on the intensified campaign against illegal drugs, interventions to prevent rape cases and road accidents among others.
Governor Carlos Padilla welcomed Nasdoman, saying that while PNP Provincial Directors come and go, ‘their good relationship and partnership with the PNP will achieve anything that is best for the province’. (OTB/BME/PIA NVizcaya)
