ILIGAN CITY (PIA)--A total of 189 patients with skin disease here benefited from the city-wide Kilatis Kutis campaign of the City Health Office (CHO) and volunteer- dermatologists.

The campaign is part of the Hansen's disease or Leprosy Elimination Program to conduct contact tracing of previous patients and monitor them after five years and to also treat patients with other skin diseases.

Through the campaign, patients underwent free consultations and received free medicines.

“Lipay gyud ko nga naay nalooy sa akoa. Dako jud ko pasalamat sa nitabang sa akoa,” he said.

[I'm happy because someone took pity on me. I am very grateful for your help.]
