LUCENA CITY, Quezon (PIA)- The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP)-Quezon joined the provincial government’s year-end job fair held at the SM City Lucena on November 25.
According to Jail Officer-2 Joefrie Barbacena Anglo, the jobs fair was organized by the Rotary Club of Lucena Central through the Provincial Public Employment Service Office (PESO).
“The year-end job fair aims to provide more opportunities for skilled and unskilled workers who wish to find local employment,” Anglo said
Meanwhile, BJMP Provincial Administrator, Jail Superintendent Jack Lord B. Cariño said apart from those in the private sector, various local government units including other national government agencies such as the BJMP also joined this activity to provide a one-stop-shop to those who may be needing their services as well as to fill up their vacant positions.
“Be one of us and join the BJMP in attaining its mission and vision of ensuring safer communities through humane safekeeping and development of Persons Deprived of Liberty,” Jail Supt. Cariño said
Applicants likewise, prepared their credentials as some local employers have signified their intent to hire on the spot.
The year-end job fair is an annual undertaking of the province in support of the collaborative spirit of the provincial government in its continuing implementation of bedrock employment programs to create more jobs for locals. (RMO/PIA Quezon)
