DIFFUN, Quirino (PIA) - - The anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation of the Diffun Police Station in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 2 has resulted in the arrest of a male person known as Joseph, 39 years old, married, embalmer and a female person, 37 years old, single both residents of Brgy. Andres Bonifacio here.

The said suspects are now under the custody of the Diffun Police Station.

Based on the press release issued by Diffun Police Station, the anti-drug buy bust operation was conducted on November 30, 2022, at 9:15 in the evening at Brgy. Diego Silang, Diffun by joint personnel of Diffun Police Station led by PMAJ Juanito D. Balite, chief of police, and Quirino Police Intelligence Unit.

The operatives confiscated/seized from the male suspect some two pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu (buy-bust item), one piece genuine one-thousand-peso paper bill, four pieces one-thousand-peso paper bills (boodle money) used as bust money.

The PNP Diffun said confiscated buy-bust item was estimated at more or less 0.6 gram with standard drug price of more or less P5,000.

Also confiscated from the said suspects are two pieces green and blue lighter, two cellphones, one blue single motorcycle without serial number, and one black leather purse containing P4,942 in different denominations.

The pieces of evidence were inventoried, marked and photographed at the place of arrest in the presence of the suspects.

“The suspects were brought to Diffun District Hospital for medical examination and subsequently brought to this station together with the confiscated/seized pieces of evidence for proper disposition,” Diffun PS stated.

The drug buy bust operation was witnessed by Diego Silang Barangay Captain, Francisco Pinkihan, DOJ Representative Elpidio Gargabite, and media representative Gemma Diodiot of DWQP. (OTB/TCB/PIA Quirino)
