The inspections are part of his visit to know the situations of jail facilities in his area of jurisdiction.
Among the jail facilities that he inspected include the district jails of Cabagan, Cauayan City and the City of Ilagan respectively.
Fulgencio said during the inspection that he also wanted to know the situations of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) inside the jail facilities and recommend measures to ensure their health while inside the facility.
He also inspected the quality of service on food of the inmates knowing that each PDL is only allotted P70 budget on food per day.
Fulgencio also advised the BJMP personnel assigned in the district jails to be always on alert during their duty to avoid untoward incidence and give the utmost service to the PDLs. (MGE / PIA Isabela)
