CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - The Cauayan City Police Station (CCPO) is preparing to strengthen the security measures this yuletide season to ensure the safety of Cauayeños and visitors in the city.

Deputy Chief of Police Major Esem Galiza said the entire police force of the city will be securing business districts, tourist destinations and other establishments in the city to avert any criminal activities especially this Christmas. 

Galiza said Christmas and New Year's related activities are expected to draw crowd after two years of restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We assure the public that the Cauayan City Police Office will guard its residents including those who want to visit the city this Christmas season,” Galiza said.

She said one of the attractions now in the city is the establishment of the White Christmas Theme Village and Banchetto located at the premises of the Isabela Convention Center.

Galiza also said they have deployed at least 30 police personnel in the Christmas village and other public safety groups to ensure public safety. (OTB/MGE/PIA Isabela)
