BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA) - -  At least 24 Micro Small Medium Enterprise (MSME) operators in this town received livelihood kits from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to start-up their businesses.

DTI Provincial Director Marietta Salviejo said the livelihood kits worth P120,000 were given through their Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB).

She said the MSMEs are expected to help in revitalizing the local economy of the municipality through the operation of their business in their respective communities.

Mayor Benjamin Cuaresma III lauded the DTI for its continuing assistance to the MSMEs of the municipality.

He said the local government unit of Bambang is also in full support to the MSMEs as partners for economic development.

“We thank the DTI for this assistance, we hope that you will use it for your benefit. Rest assured that the LGU of Bambang is always in support of your sector,” he said. (OTB/BME/PIA NVizcaya)
