Parang National High School receives books from the city government

CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro (PIA) – More than 600 books were recently received by the students of Parang National High School (PNHS) from the city government of Calapan.

The distribution of books was led by Mayor Marilou Flores-Morillo in collaboration with the City Public Library under the local government’s advocacy dubbed as ‘TaMang Aklat para sa Lahat Program.’

The program aims to provide books to different schools in the city which would help as additional references and instruments to be used by teachers in order to effectively learn students.

According to Morillo, the local government has a strong desire to provide books to different schools in order to help enhance the quality of education being offered by the government, especially during this time of the pandemic.

Morillo assured that other elementary and secondary schools in Calapan will also receive books from the local government in the next few days.  (LTC/PIA-OrMin)
