BANGUED, Abra (PIA) –- The new Land Transportation Office (LTO) -Bangued District office is now open to serve the Abrenians.
Located at the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) compound in Barangay Zone 7 in this capital town, the LTO-District Office can now accommodate more clients with wider parking area compared to their recent office at the Provincial Capitol compound.
“With this new office, we hope that LTO will be able to serve our clients better here in Abra,” Department of Transportation (DOTr)-Cordillera Regional Director Francis Almora said during the inauguration that was also graced by
by League of the Municipalities of the Philippines National President and La Paz Town Mayor JB Bernos and DPWH Bangued Assistant District Engineer Edwin Bringas.
Almora expressed his thanks to Bernos for helping then to provide a temporary office for the the LTO .
In his message, Bernos committed to support and provide necessary assistance for the LTO to continuously deliver its mandates.
“Mayor JB and Congresswoman Ching will always be there for you to assist you in all the plans and programs that the LTO wants to pursue,”Bernos said.
He raised the concern of many motorists in Abra who still need to go to nearest emission testing center in Candon for the registration of their vehicles.
"We hope that with your help, you will ease the burden of motorists in the province of Abra," Bernos added.
Abrenians can now avail the services of the LTO District Office such as the renewal, application of driver’s license, registration of vehicles and others. (JDP/CAGT – PIA CAR, Abra)
