DAVAO CITY (PIA) - Dance Group SUI GENERIS copped the grand prize of the recently held Sayaw sa Pasko Fiesta. The crew bested 14 other finalists during the scintillating grand finals night that took place on Dec. 23 at the Rizal Park stage.

Rounding out the winners included; THE VILLAIN which took home the 2nd place award, SQ1 bagged 3rd place, THY UNITY got the 4th place while SOULDIAC had the 5th place.

Sayaw sa Pasko Fiesta is a multi-genre (except for cultural and traditional Filipino dances) dance group competitions made up of Davao City residents seven years old and above.

As champions Sui Generis got a cash prize of P100,000 while first runner up The Villain will get P75,000 cash prize. SQ1 will get P50,000. Thy Unity and Souldiac will get P30,000 and P20,000 respectively.

The 10 other finalists; Six Color United, Joyful Movers, Nexus, Season Crew, Nemesis, PWC Salin Lahi Dance Artist Ensemble, Team Sesh, Mesdames, Agro Dance Troupe, and We are One PH will get P10,000 each group.

The event organized by the Wadab Babao of PREvent under the auspices of the City Tourism Operations Office as part of the Davao Pasko Fiesta 2022 celebrations. (PIA/RG ALAMA)
