IPPO entries IPPO entries win big  in regionwide painting contest

LAGAWE,Ifugao(PIA)--Entries of the Ifugao Police Provincial  Office were declared winners  in   two categories of the  regionwide painting contest sponsored by the Cordillera  regional police office.

Marco Ananayo from Hingyon won first  place in the open category and took home P15,000 pesos as   cash prize.

For the kid’s category ages 18 years old and below, all  the top 3 winners are   entries of the IPPO.

Eronaele Zen Alberto from Hungduan won  first  place with cash prize of P7,000  while Paula Leonora Venize Decena and Hannah Cumti, both from Alfonso Lista,  landed second and third placers  winning P5,000 and P3,000, respectively.

Verlyn Maritana of Hungduan and Demelson Felix of Aguinaldo also won consolation  prizes.  

The  IPPO  was represented by 14 talented youths from the different municipalities in Ifugao.

The other participants are  Angelo Tugguin of Aguinaldo, Jasper Laya and Bryan Jay Mundiguing of Banaue, and Michael Lita of Mayoyao for the open category; and Deborah Cumti and Marie Shayne Agbayani,both from Alfonso Lista, Christle Jade Tumayan from Tinoc, and Chrishelle Rose Maanao  for    the kids category.

In the Lantern contest, the 1st Ifugao Police Maneuver Company   bagged  third place with   cash prize of P7,000.

IPPO Director PCOL James Mangili congratulated   the winners  and all the participants  in the  regionwide Painting and Lantern Contest held at the Masigasig Grandstand in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet.
