Phil. Army recognizes Tubungan LCE’s support to programs, activities

ILOILO CITY (PIA) - - Mayor Roquito Tacsagon was recognized for his support to activities and programs conducted by the Philippine Army that benefited his constituents in Tubungan, Iloilo.

Tacsagon was one of the recipients of the Armed Forces of the Philippines' (AFP) Kapayapaan 2022 Award for his invaluable contributions to the attainment of the AFP Mission especially by that of the Philippine Army.

He received the award during the simultaneous Flag Raising cereony held on December 21, 2022 at Army's 3rd Infantry Division headquarters at Camp Macario B Peralta Jr. in  Jamindan, Capiz for the AFP's 87th Founding Anniversary celebration.

Tacsagon initiated Project ROKIT (Reintegration OPLAN Kabuhayan for deserving Individuals in Tubungan), a livelihood reintegration program aimed at providing an opportunity for Former Rebels to address their daily needs. (JBG/laf/PI6-Iloilo)
