CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - The City Election Office in this city has set a satellite voter registration in relation to the scheduled 2023 Barangay and Sanggunian Kabataan (SK) elections.

City Election Officer Atty. Johanna Vallejo - Dela Cruz said that the postponement of the 2022 Barangay and Sanggunian Kabataan elections gives an opportunity to unregistered voters in the city to be registered and exercise their right of suffrage.

Dela Cruz said the Comelec has started the satellite registration last December 12, 2022 and will end on January 31, 2023.

She said the registation sites include the Office of the Senior Citizen’s Affairs at Barangay San Vicente on January 5, San Antonio Vocational Agro-Industrial High School at Barangay San Antonio on January 9, 2023, Isabela National High School at San Vicente on January 11,  and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology at Barangay Osmena at January 12, 2023.

The City Election Office will also be conducting satellite registration on January 13, 2023 at San Lorenzo Intengrated School at Barangay San Lorenzo, January 17, 2023 at Manaring Integrated School at Manaring, January 20, 2023 at Sta. Isabela National High School at Barangay Sta. Isabel, January 24, 2023 at Lupigue Integrated School at Barangay Lupigue (Cabisera 10), and on January 27, 2023 at Isabela School of Arts and Trades (Annex) at Barangay Cabannungan 2nd.

She called on all unregistered voters and the Sangguniang Kabataan in the city to register to be able to vote during the Barangay and SK elections on October 30, 2023. (OTB/MGE / PIA Isabela)
