DAVAO CITY, Jan. 13 (PIA) Members of the Davao del Norte’s Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency dismantled another drug den at Purok 4B, Barangay Magsaysay, Carmen, Davao del Norte Thursday evening.

Authorities arrested one Rodegelio Pogoy 54, single and a resident of the place for selling a sachet of shabu weighing one-gram worth Php9,000 to a poseur buyer.

Four clients of the suspect were arrested namely Jun Rey Calaycay, Junior Ga, Ian Jay Magto and Jhonrey Magto.

Seven (7) pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of shabu worth Php165,000 were confiscated from the drug den.

Aileen Lovitos, Regional Director, PDEA XI said that charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the perpetrators.  (PIA XI-Joey Sem G. Dalumpines with a report from the PDEA XI)
