TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan (PIA) – A new facility will be added to the almost complete Specialty Centers at the Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CVMC) as a 4-storey Mega Isolation/Laboratory and Physical Rehabilitation Medicine Unit is now underway following a groundbreaking ceremony held recently.
Originally designed as an isolation facility as proposed during the COVID-19 surge, Dr. Glenn Mathew Baggao, medical center chief, said the facility will be utilized for other purposes when situations get back into normal.

Baggao expressed gratitude to 3rd district Representative Joseph Lara who was instrumental in the allocation of the project funds.
Lara also said the P71.8 million worth of the project is expected to be constructed in 450 days in order to provide quality patient care services.
Rep. Lara said on deck is the establishment of a state-of-the-art extension building of the Department of Behavioral Medicine.
Cong. Jojo Lara said everone deserves quality and best helath care facilities.
Lara said the people of the third district and the people of the region as a whole deserves quality health care system.
Dr. Jane Pagaddu, chair of the Department of Laboratories and Pathology said the facility was just a dream but now beacoming a reality.
“We want his to become a modern lab,” she said after CVMC passed ISO certification. The improvement of the CVMC’s facilities is for its clients as they deserve quality lab results. (OTB/GVB/PIA-Cagayan)
