1st Cagayan PMFC rolls out ‘Project Ayos Brad’ to end insurgency, illegal drugs

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan (PIA) - - The First Cagayan Provincial Mobile Force Company (1st Cagayan PMFC) has been visiting various secondary schools in its area of responsibility to conduct ‘Project AYOS BRAD’.

Project AYOS BRAD is a flagship program of the 1st Cagayan PMFC which means ‘Active Youth Leader Opposing Sexual Harassment, Bullying, Riot, Activist/Terrorist and Drugs’.

Grade 9 students of Baggao National High School in Baggao town in this province were oriented about Executive Order No. 70 or the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) on January 18 as part of the 1st Cagayan PMFC’s Project AYOS BRAD.

The activity was spearheaded by its 2nd Mobile Force Platoon led by Police Captain Sherwin Wyeth Limun.

Meanwhile, the company’s 3rd Mobile Force Platoon led by Police Captain Ronald Sagun, platoon leader, also conducted a lecture on NTF-ELCAC to the students of Bayabat National High School in Amulung town.

Aside from the conduct of Project AYOS BRAD, personnel of 1st Cagayan PMFC through its platoons continuously conduct dialogues to students in various schools on the different efforts of the government to end insurgency in the province.

Flyers containing materials about the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) and Anti-Illegal Drugs were also distributed to schools.
