Isabela cops plant 2,235 tree seedlings

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - The Isabela Police Provincial Office (IPPO), together with all police stations and mobile groups in the province, simultaneously planted 2, 335 assorted tree seedlings recently.

The tree-planting activity of the police force aims to show support for the government’s National Greening Program (NGP).

Acting Provincial Director Col. Julio Go led the police force in the tree planting activity at Ilagan Sanctuary in Sta. Victoria, this city while the police station and mobile group personnel conducted  tree planting in the LGUs’ designated NGP sites.

Go said the IPPO is one with the government in its goal to plant more trees as a show of care for the environment in addition to their mandate of serving and protecting the residents.

Aside form the police personnel, the officers and members of Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT), National Coalition of Lingkod Bayan Advocacy Group and force multipliers joined in the tree planting in their respective municipalities and cities of the province. (MGE / PIA Isabela)
