CABARROGUIS, Quirino (PIA) - - The provincial government through the Office of the Provincial Administrator has announced its partnership with Shopee for the marketing of Quirino products such as home decors, furniture, processed foods, among others.

Guesting at the I Love Quirino On Air program, Provincial Administrator Carmen Jimenez said the move has been ignited by Gov. Dax Cua to provide the MSMEs an access to a wider market for their products.

“This is in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) who will assist the MSMEs in their business name registration and other needed documents as well as trainings,” PA Jimenez said.

Jimenez said that initially, some 100 products will be sold online thru Shopee. Among these are processed foods (coffee, tea, etc.), home decors, gifts and furnitures.

Meanwhile, the DTI in a press release posted on its Facebook Page, has assured its support to the provincial government’s bid to expand market reach of Quirino products through the E-Commerce platform, Shopee.

“The engagement with Shopee is expected to bring numerous benefits for MSMEs in Quirino, including increased visibility and sales, access to new markets, and reduced costs associated with traditional brick-and-mortar operations,” the DTI said. (MDCT/TCB/PIA QUIRINO)
