TRECE MARTIRES, Cavite (PIA) – More than 9,000 Imuseños availed of free medical-surgical services in the recent Glendale Korean Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Church, and SDA Imus Medical-Surgical Mission at Imus Pilot Elementary School, and Ospital ng Imus (ONI) from January 23 – 27, 2023.
The five-day medical mission gave medical attention in chiropractic, dental, ophthalmology, general medicine, OB-Gynecology, oriental medicine, and pediatrics, including free medicine. The medical team also performed free cataract surgery and cleft-lip surgery.
Vice Mayor Homer Saquilayan together with Councilor Enzo-Asistio Ferrer – Committee Chair on Health, Nutrition, Population, and Sanitation, City Administrator Hertito Monzon, Dr. Gabriel G. Gabriel of ONI, Dr. Mary Ann Cruz of the City Health Office (CHO), and Dr. Jun Paredes of the City Tourism and Development Office (CTDO) welcomed the Korean medical team led by Elder Young Lee, Dr. Lamber Lee, and Dr. Joseph Kang.
On behalf of the City Government of Imus, Vice Mayor Saquilayan expressed his gratitude to the SDA church for the services and concern they extended to the city residents in need of health services.
