Cordillera Police Regional Director Mafelino Bazar together with National Police Commission Regional Director Editha Puddoc, assisted by the members of the command group, handed the awards to Loakan PS commander PMaj. Nixon Budikey together with Punong Barangay Raymund Ruivivar, the chairperson of the Loakan Station Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development in January 23.
They also received a plaque of appreciation for their outstanding performance, commitment, dedication, innovation and stellar accomplishment resulting in the effective execution of the PNP Patrol Plan 2030 leading to the conferment of the PGS institutionalized status and the Gold Eagle Award.
In his message, Bazar stressed that the PGS institutionalization is a process that does not simply take courage but more importantly, it takes genuine commitment towards transformation and in depth internalization of the PNP Patrol Plan 2030.
"As you made history today, you likewise set yourselves as the standard for other units to benchmark. Therefore, sustain the remarkable accomplishments you have attained and continue to prove that institutionalized status bestowed upon you is not simply a title but already your way of life," Bazar stated.
PGS is a framework for the formulation and implementation of strategies aimed at governance reform capacities towards better service delivery. The PRO-Cor and the Baguio City Police Office were already conferred the PGS institutionalized status. (JDP/DEG-PIA CAR) (Photos: RPSMU PRO-Cor)
