APAYAO(PIA)- - Governor Elias Bulut Jr. is confident that patients from Apayao and even the nearby areas of the provinces of Kalinga and Cagayan will be served more efficiently with the increase of workforce of the Conner District Hospital (CDH).
The Governor recently administered the oath of office of 118 newly hired and promoted employees of the CDH. There are 64 for the Nursing Department, 49 for the Medical Department and five for the Hospital Operations and Patient Support Service Department.
Bulut said that with the added personnel, the CDH has now greater capacity to serve the people of Apayao and from other nearby areas for efficient delivery of health services . He also called on those who need medical attention even for consultations not to hesitate to go to the hospital because of financial constraints.
CDH Medical Chief Dr. Nelson O. Rigor said that with the additional workforce of the hospital, the CDH assures that clients and patients are given quality healthcare services.
The new employees were oriented and familiarized with the hospital policies and programs as well as the Anti-Red Tape Act Compliance and Accomplishments, and Freedom of Information.
During the orientation, Dr. Rigor stressed to the employees their responsibility to uphold the vision and mission of the institution and provide quality services with enthusiasm. He emphasized that employees should always put on a smile despite of a busy day.(JDP/RMC- PIA-CAR) (CDH photos)
